BBQ
Heat the BBQ. Slice tomato. Trim cos. Peel the husk and silk from the corn. Brush or spray corn with oil. Coat both sides of the burger patties in oil and season with salt and pepper.
Add the corn and burger patties to the BBQ. Cook the corn for 8 minutes, turning often so all sides are cooked. Cook the burger patties for 3-4 minutes each side, or cook to the level of doneness you prefer. Place cheese onto hot patties.
Tip! Corn can be cooked in the microwave for 2 minutes on high if you prefer.
Toast the buns cut side down. In a dry pan on medium high heat for 1-2 mintues.
Cut the corn into equal serves per person. and season with salt. Spread burger sauce on the bottom and top of each bun. Top buns with lettuce, tomato, burger patties and cheese. Serve hot corn on the side with a bit of butter. Enjoy!
