1) The service (our boxes)
You Plate It (Storage Seeker Pty Ltd, ACN: 162 902 454) is a type of grocery delivery, built around providing you the fresh ingredients needed to cook recipes at home. Through our Website (site), we sell a once-a-week subscription service. Each week we plan exciting recipes, we shop for all the ingredients you need, we pack the ingredients you need and deliver the ingredients and recipes (service/product/subscription/box).
2) Subscription payment model
You Plate It is a subscription service where you will be charged weekly in advance for the box we provide. Your subscription remains active until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time after your first delivery. All changes to subscriptions (cancellations, plan changes, pauses & address changes) must be made by the cut-off time of midnight Wednesday WST (cut-off time).
You must have an address in our delivery area to order and receive your subscription.
We deliver between 12-6pm Sunday. If you are not able to meet the delivery driver please leave instructions in “My Account” that detail where our delivery driver should leave your You Plate It box. Ownership of goods transfers to you once we have left the box at your address.
We offer you choice. Each week we list recipes to choose from. You have until the cut-off time to choose from the recipe selections. If you don’t make a selection we send you an automated selection made on your behalf, the “chef’s choice”. You cannot make changes to individual recipes or substitute specific ingredients. We do not cater for food allergies and our boxes are packed in a facility that is used to process all allergen types including the common ones of gluten, soy, fish, dairy, egg, lupin and nuts.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing the amended Terms and Conditions to the site.
Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
Your use of the website will represent your agreement to be bound by the Terms and Conditions listed when you visited the site. We therefore recommend you read the Terms and Conditions every time you visit our site. Before purchasing a subscription you must tick a checkbox in the shopping cart to accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you will not be able to order from our site.
You should understand that by ordering our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (Agreement). We offer a once-a-week subscription service, where we deliver the ingredients and the recipes you need to make meals (product/service/subscription/box). Our service has the guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. However, it is your responsibility to examine and approve the quality of the product you receive.
By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
- you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
- you are in Australia; and
- you are at least 18 years old.
Registration for subscriptions
In order to buy our service, you must create an account, which includes a sign-in name, a password, and other information that will assist in carrying out your requests to receive the subscription. When creating your account, you must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information. Each sign-in name and corresponding password can be used by only one subscriber. You are solely responsible for the confidentiality and use of your sign-in name, password, and unique identifiers, as well as for any use or misuse using one or more of them. You must promptly inform us of any need to deactivate a password or sign-in name, or change any unique identifier. We reserve the right to delete or change your password, sign-in name, or unique identifier at any time and for any reason. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any unauthorized use of your account.
You may cancel your subscription any time and at no charge after you have received your first box. At our discretion we reserve the right to cancel your subscription at any time and without giving any reasons for our decision. Your cancellation request must be received by us before midnight Wednesday before your next delivery. To cancel your subscription you can log in to “My Account” on our website or send an email to contact @ youplateit.com.au You can re-subscribe at any time following your cancellation, but we reserve the right not to permit re-subscription.
You can suspend your subscription at any time after you have received your first box. Your request to suspend must be received before the Wednesday before your next delivery. To suspend your subscription you can log in to “My Account” on our site or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Change of details
You can change your personal, address or payment details at anytime. Your request must be received before the Wednesday before your next delivery. To change your personal, address or payment details you can log in to “My Account” on our site or send an email to email@example.com. However, please note that you cannot change the deliver address to a location that is not covered by our delivery areas.
Price and payment
When subscribing to our service your credit card will be charged the subscription fee immediately, this is payment in advance for the next delivery. Your card will then be charged the amount listed on our site every Wednesday for the next weeks delivery.
By entering into this Agreement, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. By subscribing to Our Service you are agreeing to pay a recurring subscription for an indefinite period until cancelled by you or us.
Your first order is backed by a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with the service for any reason, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org within five (5) days of delivery, and we’ll credit you the full purchase price of the box. On an ongoing basis, if you are dissatisfied with any meal (individual recipe) for any reasonable reason, please contact us within five (5) of delivery and we’ll credit you the purchase price of that meal or ingredient.
We do not deliver to every location, so please check our delivery areas. We will not deliver to any area outside our delivery areas.
Each box is carefully packaged to stay fresh until midnight on the day of delivery. To maintain the highest quality and integrity of the meals after delivery, you should immediately refrigerate the items when you receive them. Additionally, you should inspect your package to ensure the contents arrive in good condition. The best way to do this is check the meat and fish with a thermometer to ensure their internal temperature is 5 degrees Celsius or less. If a fresh food product arrives at above 6 degrees, you should contact our customer service and discard the item.
If you are not home when a delivery arrives, our delivery person will leave the package for you as per the delivery instructions listed in “My Account”. If there are no instructions our delivery person will leave the box at the front door.
Anyone at the delivery address who receives the delivery is presumed to be authorized to receive the delivery. The person who receives the delivery shall accept the box under all of the same Terms and Conditions that would apply had you accepted the delivery yourself.
In the case of an unpredictable event (force majeur), we will deliver your order as soon as reasonably possible when the conditions permit. If your designated delivery location is inaccessible, rendering us unable to make the delivery, we will contact you to determine the best alternate location and/or date for the delivery.
You will be responsible for the Product from the time we deliver it. We accept no liability or responsibility for any Product once delivered.
The subscription box may contain allergens, including but not limited to, nuts, gluten, dairy, lupin, shellfish and other foods that are considered allergens.
Coupons and referral program
Where you have used a coupon during the sign-up process, the discount will only apply to your first payment. Only one discount can apply per order. Only one discount is eligible per household. The subscription will then revert to the full, non-promotional rate as indicated on our site.
Registering for a subscription will enrol you in our referral program. The referral program is designed to reward you for introducing a customer who purchases the YouPlate.it service. You will be issued with a unique URL. When this URL is used by a customer who completes registration and subscribes to our service, you will be eligible for a $25 discount. This discount cannot be redeemed for cash and can only be redeemed as a discount off the weekly price of your YouPlate.it subscription.
Risk and title
Ownership of the Product will pass to you when we have delivered the product. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver the product in accordance with you delivery instructions detailed in “My Account”.
