Step-by-step instructions

First Things First

Our vegetables and fruit come as fresh as can be, so please give them a quick wash before you get started.

As well as your basic cooking tools, you will need...

Round Baking Tray or Pizza Stone

Step 1

1 Prepare Base

Preheat oven to 200°C. Add pizza base to a baking tray. Spread pizza & pasta sauce over the base, pick basil leaves (reserving some for step 4) and scatter over sauce. Top with grated pizza cheese.

Tip! If you have one, you can use a pizza stone instead of a baking tray.

Step 2

2 Add Toppings

Peel and finely chop garlic. Slice chorizo. Scatter prawns over cheese, add as much chorizo as you wish. Crumble ricotta over to taste (reserving 1 Tbsp) and top with garlic.

Step 3

3 Cook Pizza

Cook pizza in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the base is browned and crisp, or done to your liking.

Tip! If you're swapping the chef selected protein; adjust cooking times and method to ensure your protein is adequately cooked and safe to eat.

Step 4

4 Prepare Salsa

While pizza is cooking, finely slice green chilli. Cut cherry tomatoes in half and place in a bowl with reserved ricotta, some of the green chilli (to taste) and torn basil leaves. Drizzle with 1 Tbsp of olive oil and toss. Season with salt and pepper.

Tip! Remove the chilli seeds if you want less heat. Use extra virgin olive oil if you have it.

Step 5

5 You Plate It

Remove pizza from the oven and top with sliced chilli (to taste). Season with salt and pepper. Cut into slices and serve salsa either on top, or alongside. Enjoy!
